JANUARY

 

Tuesday 15th - Branch Meeting

8pm at Queen Victoria The Street ,Woodham Walter,CM9 6RF. Come along and find out all the latest news on what’s happening in our branch. First pint FREE to new members attending their first meeting.

 

Thursday 24th - Tenpin Bowling

8pm at Madison Heights, Park Drive, Maldon, CM9 5LD.  Following the success of last year's event, we are once again holding a tenpin bowling evening.  It's a fun night out that no one takes too seriously, the cost will be around £10 per person. We will be meeting at 6pm in the Rose and Crown (Wetherspoons Maldon) for a meal first, or just meet us at the venue. Booking essential and required by Wednesday 9th January. *

 

Thursday 31st - The 12th Colchester  Winter Beer & Cider Festival

Colchester Arts Centre, Church Street, Colchester CO1 1BF.

150 plus  real ales from all over East Anglia, Free admission for CAMRA members, Social meeting from midday onwards. meet for breakfast in the Playhouse (Wetherspoons) at 11.00am.

 

FEBRUARY

 

Tuesday 5th - Branch Committee Meeting

8.00pm at Chequers, The Square, Goldhanger, CM9 8AS. Open meeting to all members to observe and perhaps become involved in branch activities.

 

Friday 22nd - Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival

King Edward VI Grammar School, Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, CM1 3SX. Social from midday onwards. Meet in the festival, which runs from Wednesday 20th to Saturday 23rd January.

 

Tuesday 26th - Branch (Good Beer Guide and Pubs of the Year Selection) Meeting

8.00pm at White Horse, Main Road, Mundon, CM9 6PB. Come along and find out all the latest news on what’s happening in our branch. First pint FREE to new members attending their first meeting. This is also the meeting where you can vote for our Branch Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year, as well as voting for the Pubs to go into the next edition of the Good Beer Guide. There will also be an opportunity to cast your votes online prior to the meeting.
